According to the source, Huawei starts closed beta testing for the EMUI 6.0 which is based on Android Oreo.According to a Weibo leak, the new EMUI 6.0 will be available soon and they even posted a screenshot of a phone running on EMUI 6.0 closed beta program. Huawei is all set to launch its new flagship device Huawei Mate 10 and it is expected that the device will be launched with EMUI 6 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.

Google released the official Android 8.0 Oreo Update for Pixel and Nexus Devices and Android Oreo Source code. Android Oreo Features picture-in-picture mode, revamp notification panel, Notification shades, updatable emoji, a faster startup time, and plenty of security enhancements. Android Oreo is basically a refinement of Android Nougat, so EMUI 6 will probably be the same for EMUI 5 but better and smoother.EMUI 6 based on Android 8.0 OreoAccording to the Change Log, the EMUI 6 will come with a new design, picture-in-picture mode, auto-fill, split screen, improved battery life and the settings will be easier for navigation. For now, EMUI 5 is the company’s latest OS which is based on Android Nougat and many Huawei/Honor device already received the update. And we are expecting the EMUI 6 based on Android 8.0 Oreo very soon.
