MIUI 8 Release Date –
The release date for Developer ROM is set for 17th June 2016 before that MIUI 8 beta builds will roll out on 1st June while the Beta Registration for MIUI 8 will be started on May 16.

If you flash it via Mi Flash tool means you need to unlock bootloader and that void warranty. but if you flash recovery ROM warranty will not void. Also, MIUI 8 Stable ROM will be available from 28th Aug.

If i update manually will my warranty be voided. if yes then what should i do. Please help.
If you are using Recovery method then warranty will not void but fastboot method may void your warranty.

Updating software will not effect motherboard. Try manual method but if they say the motherboard is faulty better give it to them to replace it.
