OnePlus has started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update for OnePlus 3 via the closed beta group. According to a report by Android Police, OnePlus has started OnePlus 3 Android 8.0 Oreo Update for Closed Beta Group. The company will soon start testing it on 3T and 5 before releasing the public beta for these devices. The stable Oreo public beta for OnePls 3/3T and OnePlus 5 is expected by the end of September.

The OnePlus 3 Android 8.0 Oreo Update weighing in at about 800MB which update OnePlus 3 to Android 8.0 Oreo. The OnePlus 3 Closed beta build is unstable and should not be used as a daily driver because the NFC does not work, WiFi is buggy, hotspot and Bluetooth are unstable. The company is aiming to roll out the stable Oreo build for OnePlus 3 by mid-September. If you don’t want to wait and try Android Oreo right now then you can try LineageOS 15 for OnePlus 3/3T.

After that OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones won’t receive any Android version update after Android O.
