Samsung launched its much awaited Samsung Galaxy s7 and galaxy s7 edge at the MWC 2016 in Barcelona. Both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge comes with an almost same design you seen in its predecessor Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. Both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge comes with a glass front and back panels with metal frames. Both phones have almost same specifications, except for display and the battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with 2,560×1,440 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy S7 powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 processor with 4GB of RAM. The phone has powerful Adreno 530 / Mali-T880 MP12 GPU for graphics and gaming performance. Also, it has 32/64 GB internal memory with microSD card expansion and 3,000 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge offers bigger screen and improved battery. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with 2,560×1,440 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or Exynos 8890 processor with 4GB of RAM. The phone has powerful Adreno 530 / Mali-T880 MP12 GPU for graphics and gaming performance. Also, it has 32/64 GB internal memory with microSD card expansion but with better 3,600 mAh battery as compared to Galaxy S7.
Both Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge comes with a 12MP back camera (which is lower than its last year galaxy s6) brighter f/1.7 aperture and smart OIS feature. While the front camera is 5MP, which also has f/1.7 aperture. Both phones have IP68 Certified (Dust Proof and Water Resistant) and come with an Always-on display which permanently shows notifications with clock and a calendar on the S7’s screen.
Both Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with TouchWiz UI. The phone supports Cat 9 LTE speeds, according to that you get download speeds of up to 450Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps. Also, it has fast charging and wireless charging options. The phone comes with a black onyx and platinum gold colour options and will be available on 11th, March 2016.
