Google has started rolling out Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1.1 for Pixel 9 Series. This update comes shortly after the initial beta release of Android 15 QPR1, aiming to address bugs and enhance overall performance for early adopters and developers testing the new software.

Among the key fixes in this update is the resolution of an issue that could sometimes cause a device to restart unexpectedly—a problem that had been affecting some users in the initial QPR1 beta. This update is available now for Pixel 9 series devices enrolled in the Android Beta Program, with Google continuing to refine Android 15 ahead of its full release later this year.

Google is rolling out the new update to eligible devices with the AP41.240726.010 build number and the August 2024 monthly security patch. The Pixel 6 and later models—including the just-announced Pixel 9 phones can download and install the update.

You can get started with Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1.1 today by enrolling your Pixel device. Once enrolled, eligible devices will receive an over-the-air (OTA) update to the latest Beta versions. If you were previously enrolled in Android 15 Beta, you will automatically receive QPR1 Beta 1 and any future Beta updates.

To install this new version, head over to Settings → System → Software updates → System update → Check for update. If an update is not available, you can wait for few days or you can manually flash the OTA file or factory images.
