Lenovo launched two affordable mid-ranger Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016. Both phones have a solid build with its all all-metal body with rounded corner. Both phones have same display size but different resolution. Lenovo Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus have a 5-inch display.
Lenovo Vibe K5 sports a 5-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. Under the hood, Lenovo Vibe K5 is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM. The phone had Adreno 405 GPU for graphics and gaming performance and packed with a 16 GB internal memory and microSD card expansion.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus offers slightly better specs then Vibe K5. Vibe K5 Plus has a 5-inch 1080p Full HD IPS display. Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with 2GB of RAM. Also, the phone has a 16 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Both Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus comes with a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. Both phones have dual-SIM support and 4G LTE connectivity option. Also, the phone has Micro-USB 2.0 connectivity option and a removable 2750mAh battery.
Lenovo Vibe K5 and Vibe K5 Plus comes with Android Lollipop 5.1.1 based on Vibe UI, which will be upgraded to Android Marshmallow 6.0. Vibe k5 and K5 Note powered by Dolby audio and a dual speaker setup for a better audio experience. The Lenovo Vibe K5 priced $129 (Approx. Rs. 9,000) whereas Vibe K5 Plus comes with a price tag of $149 (Approx. Rs. 10,500). The phone comes with a platinum silver, champagne gold and graphite gray colour options and will be available on March 2016.
