Last week, OnePlus confirmed that OnePlus 3\/3T will be out of production and get discontinued globally. The news raises the question among users whether the device will get the future updates or not.\u00a0However, OnePlus CEO now confirmed that\u00a0<strong>OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will get Android O update<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The OnePlus CEO Pete Lau tweet that <strong>\u201cA lot of you have been asking, so I\u2019m proud to say Android O will come to OnePlus 3 and 3T.\u201d.<\/strong>\u00a0Pete Lau didn\u2019t mention any update timeline, but we guess the Android O update for OnePlus 3\/3T should be released within a few months after its official release. Unfortunately, there is no information from the company whether the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X devices will also get updated or not. The update\u00a0is still in its beta stage and currently rolled out for only Pixel or Nexus Devices. We expected to see the final version of Android O in Q4 and the same time the update for OnePlus 3\/3T.<\/p>\n<p>Company&#8217;s latest Flagship deviceOnePlus 5 is right around the corner which will be launched with Android 7.1.1 but the device will be getting the update to Android O as well.
