Keep holding the Volume Up button.<\/p>\n<p>4) When in TWRP recovery, simply select Install and then navigate to the\u00a0<strong>DUK_FullOTA_ROM_flasher\u00a0<\/strong>folder. Select the\u00a0<strong>DUK_FullOTA_ROM_flasher.zip<\/strong>\u00a0inside the folder and swipe at the bottom to flash.<\/p>\n<p>5) The installer will do everything for you.<\/p>\n<p>6)\u00a0[Optional] Do a factory reset and Reboot.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method 2 \u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1)\u00a0First, you need to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stechguide.com\/unlock-bootloader-of-huawei-devices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">unlock the\u00a0bootloader of Honor 8 Pro<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0download and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stechguide.com\/unlock-bootloader-install-twrp-and-root-honor-8-pro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">install a TWRP recovery<\/a>. If you already had an unlocked bootloader and custom recovery installed on your device then skip this step.<\/p>\n<p>2) Download the recovery files from above and save it in adb and fastboot folder.<\/p>\n<p>3) Now create a folder named\u00a0<strong>HWOTA<\/strong>\u00a0on your PC and download and place the three firmware zip files inside HWOTA folder. Also, download the two recovery images, do not place them inside any folders.<\/p>\n<p>4) Boot your device into TWRP recovery by pressing and holding the\u00a0<strong>Volume Up<\/strong>\u00a0button. Leave the power button as soon as you see the Honor logo. Keep holding the Volume Up button<\/p>\n<p>5) In TWRP, swipe to allow modifications when asked.<\/p>\n<p>6) Now Go to\u00a0<strong>Wipe<\/strong>\u00a0&gt;\u00a0<strong>Format<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>data<\/strong>\u00a0and type yes to decrypt the device storage. This will wipe everything clean.<\/p>\n<p>7) Now transfer the\u00a0<strong>HWOTA<\/strong>\u00a0folder to the root of your device\u2019s internal storage. Transfer both the recovery files to your device\u2019s internal storage as well.<\/p>\n<p>8) In TWRP menu go to\u00a0<strong>Advanced<\/strong>\u00a0-&gt;\u00a0<strong>Terminal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>9) In the TWRP terminal, enter the following commands one by one. The first command creates an\u00a0<strong>update<\/strong>\u00a0folder inside the\u00a0<strong>data<\/strong>\u00a0folder, in the root of your device. The second command moves the\u00a0<strong>HWOTA<\/strong>\u00a0folder to the newly created\u00a0<strong>update<\/strong>\u00a0folder.<\/p>\n<pre>mkdir \/data\/update\r\nmv \/sdcard\/HWOTA \/data\/update\/HWOTA<\/pre>\n<p>10) Now Flash both the recoveries via TWRP terminal using the following commands.<\/p>\n<pre>dd if=\/sdcard\/DUK-RECOVERY-NoCheck.img of=\/dev\/block\/bootdevice\/by-name\/recovery_a\r\ndd if=\/sdcard\/DUK-RECOVERY2-NoCheck.img of=\/dev\/block\/bootdevice\/by-name\/recovery2_a<\/pre>\n<p>11) Once the recovery images are flashed, delete them from your device\u2019s internal storage.<\/p>\n<p>12) Now enter the following terminal commands one to add the zip files to the recovery command.<\/p>\n<pre>echo --update_package=\/data\/update\/HWOTA\/update.zip &gt;&gt; \/cache\/recovery\/command\r\necho --update_package=\/data\/update\/HWOTA\/update_data_full_public.zip &gt;&gt; \/cache\/recovery\/command\r\necho --update_package=\/data\/update\/HWOTA\/update_full_DUK-L09_hw_eu.zip &gt;&gt; \/cache\/recovery\/command<\/pre>\n<p>13) Now reboot your device into recovery mode again by using below command.<\/p>\n<pre>reboot recovery<\/pre>\n<p>14) Now your device will boot into the EMUI recovery and the update process should start.<\/p>\n<p>This is the easiest way to Install B368 Oreo on European Honor 8 Pro.
