  1. For Method 1, I was successful all the way until step 7 where the phone could not reboot into recovery, it just stayed at penguin page. This is what I got:

downloading ‘boot.img’ was ok but booting failed (remote: unknown command)

My phone at this stage remains at penguin and I tried on/off button with both vol up and down to boot into recovery but no luck.

For method 2, I was successful installing twrp but do not know how to Grant SuperSu permission. I proceeded to download anyway on the install recovery but it failed to flash, giving this : flashing unsuccessful etc.

    Please help. Thanks

    • When you open SuperSu it shows flashify or other apps click on the app and grant the permission.
For method 1, after flashing twrp directly boot into recovery with hardware buttons and skip boot.img step.
In TWRP click on allow modifications and format cache and data(only if your storage not shown).
